RESOLVED

  1. the Town Board of the Town of Red Hook does hereby authorize the Supervisor to accept the foregoing bid for the project and execute a contract in such the form provided by the specifications, subject to the provision of a certificate of insurance and bonds and such further documentation as required by the bid specifications

  • WHEREAS, the Town issued a notice of public bids dated March 11, 2025, for the acceptance of sealed bids for the "St. Margaret's Accessibility Improvements (Re-Bid)," Contract No. R5004-037, in the Town (the "Project"), to be opened at 10:00 a.m. on April 17, 2025 at Town Hall
  • WHEREAS, specifications for the Project were prepared by T&B Engineering, P.C., a professional corporation organized under the laws of the State of New York
  • WHEREAS, sealed bids for the Project were publicly opened and read on April 17, 2025, after due notice pursuant to Section 103 of the General Municipal Law, with bids received as set forth on the tabulation included in the engineer's recommendation letter on file with the Town Clerk
  • WHEREAS, the bid of Van Etten Contracting, LLC in the amount of $92,450 for the base bid, with alternates of $5,200 and $120,050, for a total contract price of $217,700 for the Project, has been determined to be the lowest responsible bid for such work as specified in the specifications on file with the Clerk
