RESOLVED

  1. Supervisor Robert McKeon, or in his absence Deputy Supervisor William O'Neill, is hereby authorized and directed to execute a CCA electricity supply agreement in the form and on the terms and conditions provided pursuant to the Joule Agreement providing for a 24-month fixed rate renewable supply, consisting of a base option of at least 50% New York State Renewable Sources and the remainder National Wind Supply, at prices not to exceed $0.0650 per kilowatt hour, and may include an alternate for 100% NYS Renewable Sources at prices not to exceed $0.068 per kilowatt hour, and with only such changes as shall not affect the substance thereof. Such electricity supply agreement shall be approved by the officer executing such electricity supply agreement consistent with the terms of the Joule Agreement.
  2. The Supervisor, the Town Clerk and its officers, employees and agents are hereby authorized and directed for, and in the name and on behalf of the Town of Red Hook, to do all acts and things required or provided by the provisions of the approved electricity supply agreement.
  3. This resolution shall take effect immediately.

  • WHEREAS, the Town of Red Hook has authorized Joule Assets Inc. ("Joule") to serve as its Community Choice Aggregation Program Administrator for the CCA Program pursuant to an Agreement for Professional Services with Joule Assets Inc. dated April 25, 2019, as amended as of March 24, 2021 (as amended, the "Joule Agreement")
  • WHEREAS, the New York State Public Service Commission has authorized municipalities to participate in CCA pursuant to the Order issued by the New York State Public Service Commission in Case 14-M-0224 - an Order Authorizing Framework For Community Choice Aggregation Opt-Out Program ("PSC CCA Order"), as it may be amended or supplemented
  • WHEREAS, the Town Board has determined that it is in the best interests of the Town to authorize the execution of an electricity supply agreement pursuant to a 2021 RFP issued by Joule as provided in the Joule Agreement
