RESOLVED
- the Town Board hereby approves the Public Employer Health Emergency Plan for the Town of Red Hook in the form on file with the Town Clerk
- a copy of the plan shall be published in a clear and conspicuous location on the Town's employee bulletin boards, on the Town Clerk's bulletin board, and on the Town's website and shall be appended to the employee handbook
- the officers, employees and agents of the Town are hereby authorized and directed for and in the name and on behalf of the Town to do all acts and things as may be necessary or, in the opinion of the officer, employee or agent acting, desirable and proper to effect the purposes of the foregoing resolution
- this resolution shall take effect immediately

- WHEREAS, Chapter 168 of the Laws of 2020 amended New York State Labor Law to include Section 27-c requiring public employers to adopt a plan for operations in the event of a declared public health emergency involving a communicable disease
- WHEREAS, a proposed plan has been developed for such purpose, and in accordance with Section 27-c a copy of such proposed plan was presented to all applicable duly recognized or certified representatives of the Town's employees, who have been granted an opportunity to review the plan and make recommendations, if any
