RESOLVED
- The Town Board of the Town of Red Hook hereby does approve and endorse the Grant Application of Winnakee as lead applicant for a grant in the amount up to $220,000 with a 50% match by the Town
- Supervisor Robert McKeon, or in his absence the Deputy Supervisor, is hereby authorized and directed to execute the Grant Application to the Hudson River Valley Greenway, and to further execute such requests and other documents as may be necessary or convenient in connection with such application
- This resolution shall take effect immediately

- WHEREAS, the Winnakee Land Trust, Inc. (Winnakee) is applying to the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP) for grants under the Environmental Protection Fund and Recreational Trails Program for a trails project to be located in the Town of Red Hook, a site located within the area owned by Winnakee and subject to the Public Access Easement and Conservation Easement held by the Town
- WHEREAS, The Town and Winnakee have executed a Memorandum of Agreement regarding development of the Trail
- WHEREAS, the Town of Red Hook is supporting a grant to the Town of Winnakee to apply to the Hudson River Valley Greenway for a grant under the Trail Grant Program
- WHEREAS, said project is expected to include Sawkill Trail improvements to the boardwalks and bridge in Phase II
- WHEREAS, the grant application requires the applicant municipality to obtain the approval/endorsement of the governing body of the municipality or municipalities in which the project will be located
- WHEREAS, the grant requires a 50% match which is intended to be provided through voluntary in-kind contributions and/or cash from the Town of Red Hook
- WHEREAS, the action set forth herein constitutes an unlisted action which has been determined under SEQRA not to have a significant effect on the environment
