RESOLVED

  1. The Supervisor, or in his absence or unavailability the Deputy Supervisor, is hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract with Lightning Motors Inc. for the Project, with Alternates 1 and 2 accepted, for a total contract price of $377,600.00, subject to satisfaction of all conditions contained in the grant agreements for the Grants, and subject to the provision of a certificate of insurance and such further documentation as required by the Project Specifications.
  2. Payment or reimbursement for the cost of the Project is authorized to be made from the proceeds of the Grants and the balance is hereby appropriated from the General A Fund.
  3. The offices, employees and agents of the Town are hereby authorized and directed for and in the name and on behalf of the Town to do all things necessary or convenient in furtherance of this resolution.

  • WHEREAS, the Town of Red Hook has been selected to receive a NYS DOT grant in the amount of $113,187 and an Ascienzo Foundation Grant in the amount of $50,000 (collectively the 'Grants') for a portion of the cost of acquisition of two 9 passenger electric vans for transporting senior citizens and mobility challenged individuals
  • WHEREAS, the Red Hook has issued a notice of public bids dated December 14, 2022 for the acceptance of sealed bids for the proposed Project in accordance with the specifications on file with the Town Clerk, including contract form, technical specifications, and forms required for the Grants
  • WHEREAS, such sealed bids were publicly opened and read on January 11, 2023 after due notice pursuant to Section 103 of the General Municipal Law, with bids received as set forth in the tabulation on file with the Town Clerk
  • WHEREAS, the bid of Lighting Motors Inc. in the amount of $361,800.00 as the base bid, $6,900.00 for Alternate 1 and $8,900.00 for Alternate 2 has been determined to be the lowest responsible bid for such work as specified in the Project Specifications
