Resolution text

RESOLVED

  1. The Town Board hereby authorizes the Highway Superintendent to expend highway funds in an amount not to exceed $50,000.00 to be set aside to be expended for materials for primary work and general repairs upon Town highways.
  2. The Town Board hereby authorizes the Highway Superintendent to expend highway funds in an amount not to exceed $184,800.00 for permanent improvement of specified Town Highways including North Drive (0.24 miles), Old Route 199 (0.29 miles), Pin Oak Drive (0.23 miles), Sycamore Drive (0.2 miles), Rokeby Extension (0.21 miles), Dock Road (0.17 miles), and Station Hill Road (0.74 miles).
  3. The Town Board hereby authorizes the Highway Superintendent to expend highway funds in an amount not to exceed $35,000.00 for permanent improvement of Yantz Road starting at Orlich Road and leading to Stone Church Road, a distance of 1.81 miles.
  4. The Town Board hereby authorizes the Highway Superintendent to expend highway funds in an amount not to exceed $35,000.00 for permanent improvement of Norton Road starting at Orlich Road and leading to Stone Church Road, a distance of 1.91 miles.
  5. This resolution shall take effect immediately.
Show preamble — 2 WHEREAS clauses
  • WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 284 of the Highway Law, moneys levied and collected in the Town for the repair and improvement of highways, and received from the State for State Aid for the repair and improvement of highways, shall be expended for repairs of certain town highways as provided herein.
  • WHEREAS, attached hereto is a proposed form of 2023 Agreement for the expenditure of certain Highway moneys.
