RESOLVED

  1. The Town Board hereby declares the attached list of Highway equipment as surplus property which is to be sold at fair value, in "as is, where is" condition, in accordance with the procedures and on the terms and conditions set forth in this resolution.
  2. The Purchasing Agent is authorized to engage a reputable online auction agent approved by the Purchasing Officer at a commission not exceeding 10% for the online auction sale of the surplus equipment at a minimum bid and offering period to be determined by the Purchasing Officer, and upon completion of the close of bidding in accordance with the auction agent's procedures, such sale shall become final upon payment of the bid price to the Town. The surplus equipment shall be available for inspection at the Town Highway Department, Red Hook, New York 12571 pending sale at auction.
  3. If no bids are received at the minimum bid, the Purchasing Agent is authorized to dispose of such property as scrap.
