RESOLVED

  1. The Town Board hereby approves name Ralph Ellison Walk for the private roadway as shown on the Site Plan, subject to the applicable provisions of the Planning Board site plan approval and compliance with the Town highway specifications and other requirements of law. Appropriate signage shall be posted with the name of the private road in accordance with the Town highway specifications and the County's 911 laws, and such signage and its maintenance shall be the responsibility of the Owner.
  2. A certified copy of this resolution shall be provided to Dutchess County Real Property Tax Service Agency and the Dutchess County Department of Emergency Response.
  3. The Town Clerk shall send notification of this resolution to the Town of Red Hook Planning Board and the Owner.

  • WHEREAS, Bard College, being the only property owner shown as having access via said new private road (Owner), has requested approval for the private road name of Ralph Ellison Walk
  • WHEREAS, the Dutchess County Department of Emergency Response has confirmed that there are no conflicts with the proposed name
