RESOLVED

  1. The Town Board of the Town of Red Hook shall hold a public hearing on February 27, 2019, at 7:35 p.m. at the Town Hall, 7340 South Broadway, Red Hook, New York, to hear all interested parties on said Proposed Local Law
  2. The Town Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to publish notice of said public hearing in the Poughkeepsie Journal, the official newspaper of said Town, on or before February 17, 2019, which is not less than ten calendar days prior to the date of said public hearing

  • WHEREAS, a proposed form of Local Law A (Proposed) entitled "A LOCAL LAW TO ESTABLISH A COMMUNITY CHOICE AGGREGATION PROGRAM FOR THE TOWN OF RED HOOK" (the "Proposed Local Law") has been submitted to the Town Board of the Town of Red Hook
  • WHEREAS, the Proposed Local Law would amend the Town Code of the Town of Red Hook, by adding a new Chapter 55, entitled "COMMUNITY CHOICE AGGREGATION PROGRAM", to select one or more energy suppliers on behalf of customers who do not opt out of the program, as set forth in the Proposed Local Law attached hereto
  • WHEREAS, pursuant to the State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQR), the Town Board has determined that the proposed local law is best described as a local legislative decision concerning routine administration and management under the State Environmental Quality Review Act and that adoption of this Local Law constitutes a Type II action which will not have a significant effect on the environment
