RESOLVED
- the Town Board of the Town of Red Hook does hereby authorize the Highway Superintendent to accept the foregoing bid and to purchase snow and ice control abrasives as needed from time to time for general highway maintenance purposes at said FOB prices from Red Wing Properties, Inc. for the 2025 calendar year, within applicable budgetary authority

- WHEREAS, sealed bids for ice control abrasives for 2025 were publicly opened and read on September 27, 2024, after due notice pursuant to Section 103 of the General Municipal Law, with bids being received for such material from Aden Mining & Materials, Callanan Industries, Inc., A. Colarusso & Son, Inc., and Red Wing Properties, Inc., as shown on the attached bid tabulation
- WHEREAS, the Highway Superintendent has determined that, taking into account the location and FOB price of the product at the place and time and with the quantities anticipated to be needed for the calendar year 2025, the bid of Red Wing Properties, Inc. at $11.50 per ton FOB is the lowest responsible bid for snow and ice control abrasives as set forth on such bid tabulation
- WHEREAS, the Highway Superintendent has determined that such bid is not in excess of the available contract price for such materials though the State Office of General Services
- WHEREAS, the Town Highway Superintendent has recommended award of the bid to such bidder
