Dutchess County 2025 Hazard Mitigation Plan Adoption
The Village of Red Hook Board of Trustees adopted the Dutchess County 2025 Hazard Mitigation Plan in accordance with the Disaster Mitigation Act of 2000. Future iterations of the plan may be edited or amended after submission for review without requiring re-adoption, but the plan must be updated within 5 years (by April 13, 2031).[8]

Town of Red Hook Lead Agency Consent — Town Sewer District
The Mayor is authorized to consent that the Town of Red Hook serve as lead agency for the Town of Red Hook Town Sewer District formation, with discharge to the Village of Red Hook wastewater treatment plant. The Village of Red Hook Planning Board separately consented to the Town of Red Hook Board of Trustees serving as lead agency for SEQR of the Town sewer project and requested continued notification of all SEQR determinations, proceedings, and hearings.[4][5]
Village SEQRA Lead Agency — WWTP Upgrade Phase II
The Board of Trustees classified the Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrade Phase II project as a Type I action under SEQRA and declared its intent to serve as lead agency. The upgrade will increase treatment capacity from 75,000 gallons per day (gpd) to 300,000 gallons per day (gpd) at a projected cost of $20 million.[6]
Planning Board Lead Agency Consent — WWTP Phase II
The Village of Red Hook Planning Board consented to the Village of Red Hook serving as lead agency for the STEP Sewer upgrade – Phase II. The Planning Board requested to be notified of all SEQR determinations, proceedings, and hearings related to this matter.[7]

The Village of Red Hook Board of Trustees declared itself Lead Agency for SEQRA review of the proposed municipal sewer system in the general business district, classified as a Type I action.
