Narcan Vending Machine Placement
The Village has authorized the receipt and placement of a Narcan and fentanyl testing strip vending machine provided free of charge by the Dutchess County/MATTER program, to be located near the Information Building. The Village is responsible for refilling the machine and may refuse or request removal at any time; Dutchess County provides a Certificate of Insurance.[7][8]

MIG/Language Access Grant Contract Extension
The Mayor is authorized to sign an extension to the MIG/Language Access Grant Contract, with consistent indemnity provisions, as authorized on October 24, 2024.[6]

Red Hook Responds Subcontractor Agreement
The Mayor is authorized to execute the amended subcontractor agreement with Red Hook Responds for the NYS Office of Children and Family Services grant, requiring Red Hook Responds to follow all grant requirements and indemnifying the Village if Red Hook Responds fails to do so.[4][5]

Think Differently Disability Inclusion Initiative
The Village of Red Hook has adopted the Think Differently initiative to promote awareness, acceptance, and inclusion of individuals living on the Autism Spectrum and with special needs. The initiative supports community events that expand family-friendly opportunities for people with special needs and their families, and encourages businesses and community members to make facilities and services more accessible.[3]

Community Preservation Fund MOU
The Village has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with the Town of Red Hook establishing a CPF allocation framework under which highly ranked Village parcels are eligible for a minimum 10% of CPF funds annually (with both Villages together receiving a minimum 20% annually). Each municipality retains the power to veto allocation of its funds to a project not directly benefiting the Village, and may relinquish its allocation, with each party designated as an active participant in decision-making.[1]

Narcan Vending Machine Installation Authorization
Superseded by the formal receipt and placement authorization on September 8, 2025 (footnote 8). The Village initially authorized proceeding with the next step to host a narcan vending machine on May 22, 2025.[7]

Red Hook Responds Initial Subcontractor Agreement
Superseded by the amended subcontractor agreement authorized on March 9, 2023 (footnote 5). Mayor Smythe was originally authorized to sign the subcontractor agreement with Red Hook Responds on February 23, 2023.[4]
