TAX CAP - Resolution to Set Public Hearing – 2019-2020 Tax Cap Over-Ride

Resolution #7-2019 — 2019-02-11

WHEREAS

  • the Village of Red Hook may require an enabling local law to allow a tax cap over-ride for the upcoming fiscal year 2019-20
  • the final version of previous budgets has remained within the requisite tax cap
  • there may be a need to override the tax cap as Local Law in 2019

RESOLVED

  • the Village Board will schedule a public hearing on the tax cap over-ride law for March 11, 2019 at 7 pm to consider a tax cap override
  • the Clerk will publish notice in the Kingston Freeman
