Resolution Supporting a Grant Application to Hudson River Valley Greenway Red Hook Community Preservation Project Plan Update

Resolution #3-2016 — 2016-02-11

WHEREAS

  • the Town of Red Hook is applying to the Hudson River Greenway for a grant under the Greenway Communities Grant Program for a project entitled Red Hook Community Preservation Project Plan Update to be located in the Village of Village of Tivoli, Village of Red Hook and Town of Red Hook.
  • the grant application requires the applicant municipality to obtain the approval/endorsement of the governing body of the municipality or municipalities in which the project will be located

RESOLVED

  • that the governing board of the Village of Red Hook hereby does endorse the Town of Red Hook's application for a grant in the amount $ 10,000 under the Greenway Communities Grant Program, for a project known as Red Hook Community Preservation Project Plan Update and located within this community, with a total project cost estimated not to exceed $ 20,000 and the required 50% match to be funded by in-kind contributions.
