Sewer Report - June 8th, 2026

One sewer alarm went off since the last report. Located at a village restaurant - due to excessive sludge build up in the tank. Though not an emergency, it demonstrates the importance for businesses to call for regular service.

On June 5th, Les Coon (H20 Innovations) and Jake Smith (DPW) led an in-depth walkthrough of the WWTP. In attendance were:

Follow-up questions:

  • We currently rely on businesses to call for service, based on estimates from their grease trap past. Should we establish a routine pumping calendar within the business district?

  • We discussed renegotiating energy costs for the WWTP - any movement with this?

  • Are there written projections for the expansion project, with and without the various associated developments?
