Dutchess County 2025 Hazard Mitigation Plan Adoption
The Village of Red Hook Board of Trustees adopted the Dutchess County 2025 Hazard Mitigation Plan on April 13, 2026, in accordance with the Disaster Mitigation Act of 2000. The plan identifies mitigation goals and actions to reduce or eliminate long-term risk to people and property from future hazards and disasters. Future iterations of the plan may be edited or amended without requiring re-adoption, but the plan must be updated within 5 years (by April 13, 2031).[3]
NYMIR Insurance Renewal 2026–2027
The Mayor is authorized to execute the Unallocated Insurance 2026–2027 New York Municipal Insurance Reciprocal (NYMIR) Renewal agreement with Marshall & Sterling. This renewal covers the period through May 31, 2027.[4]

The Mayor is authorized to sign the Business Associate Agreement with Marshall & Sterling, the Village's insurance broker, establishing terms for the handling and protection of private health information.[2]

Dutchess County Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan (2017 Adoption)
Superseded by footnote 3 (Resolution 16-2026). The Village adopted the Dutchess County Hazard Mitigation Plan Municipal Annex on May 8, 2017, with a five-year update requirement; the plan expired May 8, 2022 and was replaced by the 2025 Hazard Mitigation Plan.[1]
