Abolition of Office of Village Justice
The Office of Village Justice, together with the Acting Village Justice, Court Clerk, and all supportive services, is abolished upon the expiration of the current term ending April 5, 2027, pursuant to §3-301(2)(a) of the Village Law of the State of New York. This resolution was adopted subject to permissive referendum and takes effect upon expiration of the referendum period or upon a referendum vote supporting abolition.[5]
