CIT/BEAT Agreement with Dutchess County
The Village of Red Hook participates in the Dutchess County Crisis Intervention Team (DCCIT) training and Behavioral Evaluation & Assessment Patrols (BEAP) program through an ongoing agreement with the County of Dutchess. The Mayor is authorized to sign extension agreements as needed to continue police officer training in de-escalation and diversion from the criminal justice system.[1][2][4][6][8][9][10]
