2025–2026 Sand and Salt Cooperative Agreement
The Mayor is authorized to sign the 2025–2026 Sand and Salt Cooperative Agreement with the Town of Red Hook. This agreement supersedes prior seasonal agreements for the same purpose.[8]
2017
Plow Truck Bond Authorization
The Village is authorized to acquire a plow truck at an estimated maximum cost of $173,355, financed through the issuance of bonds in the principal amount of not to exceed $173,355 pursuant to the Local Finance Law. The period of probable usefulness is fifteen (15) years, and the proposed maturity of the bonds will exceed five (5) years.[4]
2018 Freightliner Truck Note — Salisbury Bank
The Mayor and Treasurer are authorized to issue a note for $88,855 through Salisbury Bank and Trust Company at an interest rate of 1.88% for the purchase of a 2018 Freightliner 108SD dump/plow truck. A down payment of $84,500 is funded from identified 2016–17 and 2017–18 fiscal year line items; proceeds from the sale of the 1996 International truck and FEMA recovery funds from Storm Stella are to be deposited toward the first bond payment.[5]

Leaf Purchase Agreement — A.W. Coon
A.W. Coon is authorized to purchase Village leaves directly from the vacuum rig at a rate of $10.00 per load.[3]
2008
John Deere Compact Tractor Purchase
The Village approved the purchase of a John Deere compact tractor with a 53" bucket and 47" snowblower at a cost of $23,564.08. Funding was drawn from the Snow Reserve ($5,000), General Repairs Highway budgets ($3,500.08 and $2,000), revenue from the sale of the existing tractor ($3,000–$5,000), and a 5-year bond for the remaining balance of approximately $8,064–$10,064.[1]
Power Broom Attachment Purchase
The Village authorized the purchase of a power broom attachment for the John Deere Compact Tractor at a cost of $2,803.76. Funds are drawn from budget line item #5110.2 – General Repairs EQ – Highway.[2]

Superseded by the 2024–2025 agreement (footnote 7) and subsequently the 2025–2026 agreement (footnote 8). The Mayor was authorized to sign the Salt and Sand Cooperative Agreement with the Town of Red Hook for the 2023–24 winter season; expired March 31, 2024.[6]
