Fire Service Agreement — Town Fire Protection District Amendment 1
The Mayor is authorized to sign Amendment 1 to the Fire Service Agreement between the Town of Red Hook and the Red Hook Fire Company, addressing Village services arising from the firehouse's location on Village property.[22]
Town Fire Protection District Fire Service Agreement 2025–2026
The Village of Red Hook has agreed to the conditions of the Town of Red Hook Fire Protection District Fire Service Agreement for 2025–2026, with the Mayor authorized to sign the contract. The agreement expires December 31, 2026.[25]

LOSAP Investment Policy Statement
The Mayor is authorized to sign the Defined Contribution Length of Service Award Program (LOSAP) Investment Policy Statement from RBC Wealth Management dated April 2023.[18]
LOSAP Annual Service Award Contribution Rate
Effective January 1, 2024, the annual Service Award contribution for active volunteer firefighters is $1,200 for each calendar year in which a firefighter earns a year of service credit (50 or more points) under the Point System. This rate was approved by public referendum on November 7, 2023.[19]
LOSAP Costs — IMA Allocation to Town
An amendment to the Inter-Municipal Agreement among the Town of Red Hook, Village of Red Hook, and Village of Tivoli provides that costs associated with the volunteer firefighter Length of Service Award Program (LOSAP) shall be paid solely by the Town of Red Hook.[21]

The Village of Red Hook LOSAP account is held with RBC Wealth Management, contingent on the Red Hook Fire Department also agreeing to hire RBC. The Mayor, Deputy Mayor, or Clerk/Treasurer (any one of such officers) is authorized to purchase, sell, assign, transfer, or otherwise dispose of securities and enter into related agreements on behalf of the LOSAP account.[1][8]

A rider to the tri-party fire service agreement provides that the Town of Red Hook shall reimburse the Village of Red Hook 79% of the actual Workers' Compensation insurance premium upon presentation of the bill, based on actual costs and a ten-year census.[7]

Fire Company Lease — Training Shed Amendment
The existing 1985 lease with the Red Hook Fire Company was amended to permit construction of a 28' x 32' training facility shed on the north, east, and south sides of the firehouse, with a 5" maintenance buffer on those sides. The shed is exempt from planning review but must meet all local, town, and state building, health, safety, and fire codes.[4][5]

The Village awarded the fire services contract to the Red Hook Fire Company from June 1, 2021 through May 31, 2023. Expired May 31, 2023.[15]

The Village agreed to the conditions of the Town of Red Hook Fire Protection District Fire Service Agreement for 2023–2024. Expired December 31, 2024.[16]

Fire Protection Contract — 2-Year Term at 2% Increase
The Mayor was authorized to sign a two-year fire protection contract with a 2% increase, with the Village and Town each covering LOSAP and Cancer Coverage costs. Superseded by subsequent contract renewals.[14]

Red Hook Fire Company — 18-Month Contract at 4% Increase
The Mayor was authorized to offer the Red Hook Fire Company a 4% salary increase on an 18-month contract, and to provide consultation on establishing an independent fire district. Expired approximately July 19, 2018.[11]

Fire Contract Increase — 2% Plus 2%
The Village agreed to fire contract increases of 2% for year one and 2% for year two, and accepted a 75/25% pro-rating on LOSAP and Workers' Compensation premium costs with the Town paying the 75% share. Superseded by subsequent IMA amendment allocating LOSAP costs solely to the Town.[10]
