Governing Local Law for Building and Fire Prevention Code
The Village of Red Hook's building and fire prevention regulations are governed by Local Law 2-2011, enacted as Chapter 95 of the Village Code. This local law incorporates the New York State Building Code and Fire Protection Code to keep the Village in compliance with state law and authorizes administration of points of assembly.[3]

Supplement to Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code
A supplement to the Title 19 Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code has been enforced retroactively to Local Law 1-2006. This supplement was confirmed by resolution on July 7, 2008.[2]
