CEO/ZEO Proactive Code Violation Enforcement
The Code Enforcement Officer/Zoning Enforcement Officer (CEO/ZEO) is directed to be proactive by driving around the Village to identify code violations.[3]
Operating Permits — Places of Assembly Fee
Operating permits are required for all churches and places of assembly at a cost of $50.00 per permit, with each permit valid for 3 years.[5]

Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code — Local Law Adoption
The Village of Red Hook enacted Local Law Number 1-2006 to supplement and replace the prior local law addressing Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code issues. A supplement to the Title 19 Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code was subsequently enforced retroactively to Local Law 1-2006.[1][2]

Z3 Consultants, Inc. — Building Code and Zoning Enforcement Agreement
Expired May 31, 2024. The Village authorized a consultant agreement with Z3 Consultants, Inc. (464 Freedom Plains Road, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603) for building code and zoning enforcement services from June 1, 2023 through May 31, 2024 at a rate of $125.00 per hour, terminable by the Village upon 30 days' written notice.[10]
