Village Fee Schedule — Current Adopted Schedule
The Board of Trustees adopted an updated Village Fee Schedule for permits, applications, licenses, records, inspections, and other municipal services, effective June 1, 2026. All prior fee schedules or portions thereof inconsistent with this resolution are superseded as of that date.[14]
Village Clerk — Fee Schedule Maintenance Duty
The Village Clerk is authorized and directed to maintain the adopted fee schedule in the official records of the Village and to make it available for public inspection.[14]

2011
Building and Fire Protection Code — Chapter 95 (Local Law 2-2011)
The Village approved updated Chapter 95, incorporating the New York State Building Code and Fire Protection Code into the Village Code as Local Law 2-2011, to keep the Village in compliance with state law and to authorize administration of points of assembly.[7]
Operating Permits — Places of Assembly
Operating permits are required for all churches and places of assembly at a cost of $50.00 per permit, with a validity period of 3 years.[8]

Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code — Local Law 1-2006
The Village of Red Hook enacted Local Law Number 1-2006 to supplement and replace the prior law addressing issues contained in the new Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code. A supplement to the Title 19 Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code was subsequently enforced retroactively to Local Law 1-2006.[3][4]

Building, Planning & Zoning Fee Schedule — 2024 Amendment
Superseded by the 2026 comprehensive fee schedule. The 2024 amendment added fees associated with §200-18.1 Animal husbandry, hens and honeybees, effective immediately on July 15, 2024.[13]
2022
Building, Planning & Zoning Fee Schedule — June 2022 Revision
Superseded by the August 8, 2022 formal adoption and ultimately by the 2026 comprehensive fee schedule. The revised schedule was accepted effective June 14, 2022 with a note that escrow may be required.[10]
Building, Planning & Zoning Fee Schedule — August 2022 Adoption
Superseded by the 2024 amendment and ultimately by the 2026 comprehensive fee schedule. The August 8, 2022 schedule included amendments for residential construction minimums, fence permits in linear feet, oil tank replacements, and new electrical work/upgrade fees.[11]

Building and Zoning Department Fee Schedule — June 2018 Increase
Superseded by the June 2022 and August 2022 fee schedule updates, and ultimately by the 2026 comprehensive fee schedule. Fees were increased effective June 1, 2018 per Exhibit A.[9]

Zoning Fee Revenue — 2011 Budget Adjustment
Superseded by subsequent fee schedule updates. Zoning fees were increased in the revenue side of the budget in anticipation of Anderson Commons building permits and more development activity.[6]

Zoning Fees — 2010 Increase
Superseded by subsequent fee schedule updates. The Board approved an increase in zoning fees as submitted by Trustee Trapp and Sam Harkins, effective immediately in June 2010.[5]
