Governing Local Law for Building and Fire Prevention Code
The Village of Red Hook's building and fire prevention code is governed by Local Law 2-2011, enacted as updated Chapter 95 of the Village Code, incorporating the New York State Building Code and Fire Protection Code to keep the Village in compliance with state law.[4]
CEO/ZEO Proactive Code Violation Enforcement
The Code Enforcement Officer/Zoning Enforcement Officer (CEO/ZEO) is directed to be proactive in identifying code violations by driving around the Village to locate violations.[3]
