RESOLVED

  1. by the Board of Trustee of the Village of Red Hook the following: VILLAGE LAW OF RED HOOK LOCAL LAW NO. 6 OF 2011 VEHICLE AND TRAFFIC REGULATIONS AMENDMENTS, ADDITION TO SECTION 190-28 Seasonal all night parking. B. When any vehicle is parked or abandoned on any street in violation of subsection (a). Said vehicle may be removed by or under the direction of the Police Department of the Village of Red Hook. (c) The Police Department upon removing any vehicle in violation of this section shall notify the registered owner of the vehicle of the removal and impoundment and registered owner thereof shall be allowed to recover it from the place where it has been placed or impounded upon presentation to the Police Department of evidence of their identity and right to possession of the vehicle, sign a receipt for its return and, in addition to an administrative fee to secure the removal said vehicle and any penalties and fines owed to the Village of Red Hook, they shall also pay all towing service and storage charges incurred for the removal of the vehicle in violation of this Chapter. This amendment shall take effect immediately upon filing in the office of the Secretary of State in accordance with Section 27 of the Municipal Home Rules Law.

  • WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the Village has determined this action to be an a Unlisted action based on the criteria found in 6 NYCRR, § 617.4 and has determined that there are no adverse environmental impacts associated with the adoption of this Local Law, and the Village Board hereby issues a Negative Declaration in connection with the adoption of this Local Law
