RESOLVED
- the Board hereby adopts the attached Notice of Negative Declaration, finding that the adoption of the Proposed Local Law will not result in any significant adverse environmental impacts and that a Draft Environmental Impact Statement will not be prepared; and
- the Board hereby adopts the Proposed Local Law as Local Law No ___ of 2016.
- That the Village Clerk be and she hereby is directed to enter said local law in the minutes of this meeting and in the Village Code of the Village of Red Hook, to number the local law in accordance with the order of filing with the Department of State, to give due notice of the adoption of said local law to the Secretary of State of New York, and take all other actions as may be required by law.
- The Village Clerk is and she hereby is directed to file notice of the negative declaration with the Environmental Notice Bulletin.

- WHEREAS, a proposed form of a Local Law entitled "A local law adopt Greenway Connections as a Village Land Use, Development and Design Guideline and Confirm Commitment as a Participating Community in the Greenway Compact" (the "Proposed Local Law") was presented to the Village Board of Trustees of the Village of Red Hook (the "Board") on May 9, 2016; and
- WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 239m of the General Municipal Law, the proposed local law was referred to the Department of Planning and Development which responded on June 16, 2016, that it was a matter of local concern;
- WHEREAS, a Full Environmental Assessment Form ("EAF") dated May 9, 2016 has been prepared on behalf of the Board; and
- WHEREAS, on May 9, 2016, the Board classified the Proposed Local Law as a Type I action under SEQRA and determined that it was the only involved agency; and
- WHEREAS, the Board has reviewed the EAF and information obtained through its own knowledge, the public hearing, its consultants and other agencies and has sufficient information on which to base a determination of significance; and
- WHEREAS, the Board has considered the criteria contained in 6 NYCRR 617.7 and thoroughly analyzed all identified relevant areas of environmental concern; and
- WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on June 13, 2016 and continued to June 16, 2016, during which all those who wished to speak were heard.
