Check entire unit for noticeable oil leaks Inspect Coolant Effectiveness - Replace as Necessary. Operational Checks - Start generator and conduct safety shutdown tests for the following: Low oil pressure High water temperature (liquid cooled sets only) Over speed High air temperature (air cooled sets only) Check voltage output Check frequency (Hz) Record hour meter reading Check unit for vibration and any unusual noises Inspect assembly and connections Check exerciser clock and time setting Check time delays Check battery charger for proper output Check selector switch Check voltage sensors for visual conditions (Above applies when accessible and applicable) Final Check: Check field breaker is in the ON position Check that selector switch is in the automatic mode Start and stop generator using generator controls General Inspection: Inspect site for any debris or obstructions, which could be a potential problem or may be hazardous to the operation or surrounding area.

ElectricAce did an annual, comprehensive full service maintenance on our Generac generator. They sent a reminder of the annual service appointment (VERY HELPFUL), came at the appointed time, did a full service and provided a very detailed record of the results!!! Electric Ace is wonderful. They installed our standby generator in 2020 and did a fantastic job. They do annual maintenance, and it couldn't be easier. We get a reminder email a few days before that they will be coming, then the service technician arrives on time on the specified date, and then the autopsy charge is done. We also receive a copy of the invoice, a detailed list of what maintenance was done, and photos. Thank you!
