RESOLUTION TO DECLARE THE 2006 INTERNATIONAL 7500 SBA (GARBAGE/LEAF) TRUCK TO BE SURPLUS

Resolution #34-2023 — 2023-07-10

WHEREAS

  • the 2006 International 7500 SBA truck used for garbage and leaf pick up is currently inoperable
  • the cost to repair this truck, if it is even repairable, will be significant and therefore not worth the investment
  • the Village is planning to purchase a new truck to handle garbage and leaf pickup
  • the Village would like to sell this truck and/or its parts at auction to recoup any money possible

RESOLVED

  • The 2006 International 7500 SBA truck is declared surplus and will be put up for auction once a new garbage/leaf truck has been purchased and received.
  • Any proceeds from the sale of this truck will go toward reducing the amount to be financed for the purchase of the new garbage/leaf truck.
