RESOLUTION TO ENGAGE YOUNGWIRTH LAW AS LABOR & EMPLOYMENT COUNSEL

Resolution #32-2023 — 2023-06-22

WHEREAS

  • the Village of Red Hook requires the services of labor and employment counsel from time to time
  • the Village of Red Hook has been working with Brooke Youngwirth at Mackey, Butts, & Whalen since the retirement of David Wise
  • Brooke Youngwirth is starting her own law firm, Youngwirth Law, as of July 1, 2023, and has confirmed that she will continue to provide legal services at the same rates as our current agreement with Mackey, Butts, & Whalen

RESOLVED

  • that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Red Hook hereby authorizes the Mayor to engage the firm of Youngwirth Law to provide Labor and Employment Legal Services for this fiscal year
