RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING THE ADOPTION BY THE VILLAGE BOARD OF THE VILLAGE OF RED HOOK OF A SIX MONTH MORATORIUM ON DEMOLITION AND MOTOR VEHICLE SERVICE STATIONS IN THE GB (General Business) DISTRICT

WHEREAS
- a proposed local law entitled, "A local law placing a six-month moratorium on all applications and permits for demolition of a structure over 120 square feet and for establishment, expansion of modification of a motor vehicle service station in the GB District" has been presented to the Village Board
- the proposed local law constitutes a Type II action for purposes of the State Environmental Quality Review Act pursuant to 6 NYCRR § 617.5(c)(30)
RESOLVED
- The Board of Trustees of the Village shall hold a public hearing on November 16, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. at the Village Hall, 7467 S. Broadway, Red Hook, New York, to hear all interested parties on said proposed local law
- The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to publish notice of said public hearing in the official newspaper of said Village, on or before November 6, 2017 which is not less than ten days prior to the date of said public hearing
- The Village Clerk is further authorized and directed to provide written notice of the proposed Local Law to the Town Clerk of the Town of Red Hook, on or before November 6, 2017, which is not less than ten days prior to the date of said public hearing
- The Village Clerk is further authorized and directed to refer the question of the adoption of the proposed local law to the Dutchess County Department of Planning and Development for a report and recommendation thereon pursuant to Section 239-m of the General Municipal Law and to request expedited review by November 16, 2017
