Determine Funding for Sidewalk Improvements

Resolution #23-2017 — 2017-09-11

WHEREAS

• the Village Board has the opportunity to repair public sidewalks on Rt. 9 East side for $10,400, and a contractor, working for the Town of Red Hook (BTM) is available to do the required work before they leave Red Hook on or about 9-15-17
• the Village Board has reviewed SEQRA Law NYC-RR 617.5c(2) and it has been determined that these sidewalk repairs are designated a Type II action and no EAF is required

RESOLVED

• the Village of Red Hook will work with its engineers and the DOT to get the work done immediately and utilize the Salisbury Bank credit line as initial funding; and then 5110.42 – Maintenance of Streets ($2,000.00) of the total cost ($10,400.00) and the remainder of the balance ($8,400) will be taken from CHIPS 5110.3
