Resolution to Authorize a Consultant Agreement Between Z3 Consultants, Inc., and the Village of Red Hook

Resolution #19-2023 — 2023-05-25

WHEREAS

  • the Village of Red Hook ("Village") is in need of building code and zoning enforcement and currently does not have staff to provide review and enforcement of its building and zoning codes
  • Z3 Consultants ("Consultant") is trained and qualified to provide the services required for the investigation and enforcement of building code and zoning compliance and has adequate staff to provide both oversight, enforcement and administrative support, including training of Village employees to perform administrative duties in the building/zoning office of the Village, and Consultant proposes to furnish such services to the Village

RESOLVED

  • the contract term will be from June 1, 2023 through May 31, 2024 unless sooner terminated as set forth herein at a rate of $125.00 per hour worked based upon the schedule attached to the contract
  • this Agreement may be terminated by the Village upon giving thirty (30) days notice in writing to the Consultant
  • the Mayor is hereby authorized to sign the attached contract with Z3 Consultants, Inc., 464 Freedom Plains Road, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603
