RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FOR A MUNICIPAL INNOVATION GRANT REGARDING STUDY OF JUDICIAL COURT SHARED SERVICES

Resolution #16-2017 — 2017-05-18

WHEREAS

  • it is in the best interests of the Village of Red Hook ("Village") to submit an application for a Municipal Innovation Grant to finance a study of judicial operations to ascertain the feasibility of sharing operations/locations to create a shared judicial court ("Grant Application")
  • the maximum amount of the Grant Application to be applied for is $30,000, with the Town of Red Hook and the Village of Red Hook as co-applicants

RESOLVED

  • The Village Board of Trustees hereby authorizes the Mayor or, in his absence, the Deputy Mayor, to execute and submit the Grant Application as project co-applicant with the Town of Red Hook, in a maximum estimated project cost of $30,000, for the Judicial Court Shared Services Feasibility Study project.
  • The officers, employees and agents of the Village are hereby authorized and directed for an in the name and on behalf of the Village to do all acts and things as may be necessary or, in the opinion of the officer, employee or agent acting, desirable and proper to effect the purposes of the foregoing resolution.
  • This resolution shall take effect immediately.
