Village of Red Hook Village Green Commi�ee Monthly Report June 2023

The Current balances of the Village Green Commi�ee’s related budget accounts, as of June 7, 2023 are as follows:

  1. Community Beau�fica�on – contractual expenses (#8510.4) ----- (no new ac�vity)

  2. Shade Tree – contractual expenses (#8560.4) ------------------------- (no new ac�vity)

  3. Village Green Commi�ee Checking Account Balance -------------------$7, 674.32

There were no Village Green Commi�ee Mee�ngs held during the month of May, 2023.

Dave Pearson and I are hoping to meet this month to discuss poten�al beau�fica�on projects as well as member recruitment.

Residents and businesses interested in having a tree(s) planted on their adjacent Village street or NYS highway right-of-ways, volunteering for plan�ng days, or sponsoring a VGC beau�fica�on project, may contact David Pearson, myself, Kym Bradley-Rickard, or the Jen Cavanaugh- Village Clerk

Village of Red Hook Sewer Department Monthly Report June 2023

As the sewer is s�ll new we are working out the understandings of the ins and outs of how it works and what tes�ng needs to be done. We addressed changing the owner from Red Hook Commons to the Village of Red Hook, as it is officially in our stead.

We acknowledge there was a plan to divert the RHC plant to the new WWTP in order for Delaware to do a full inspec�on of the RHC plant; however, at this �me we are s�ll wai�ng for the all clear to go ahead and schedule that switch over and inspec�on.

There are some areas that need upda�ng and fixing and the Village is in conversa�on with C3ND about the best route of ac�on and what all is needed for those fixes to come into play.
